the national intersex+, non-binary, and transmasculine abortion fund

Abortion care is for all of us.

The NATIONAL INTERSEX+, NON-BINARY & TRANSMASCULINE ABORTION FUND (NINTAF) exists to fill the gap — because too many of us are erased by mainstream abortion care. Our pregnancies matter. Our parenthood matters.

trans and pregnant? need help? you aren't alone.

Our mission

Transmasculine, nonbinary, and intersex people get pregnant. We also seek abortions — and are systematically erased, denied, or misgendered at every step of care.NINTAF is the first national abortion fund centering these communities. We collect and redistribute funds to those who need access to abortion care but are shut out of existing systems.Because our bodies (and our families) deserve justice — not just visibility.

On the current political climate

Why now?

Abortion is collapsing in red states — and even “sanctuary” states often exclude or misgender trans, intersex, and gender non-conforming patients.Transmasculine, nonbinary, and intersex people face:

  • Clinic refusal

  • Insurance denials

  • Data erasure

  • Financial insecurity

Existing abortion funds are overwhelmingly cis-woman-focused. Those that say they include trans people don’t always center our needs in distribution, privacy, or intake language. The gap is not just ethical — it’s deadly.
